Yariela Melo de Pierre

Yariela Melo de PierreYariela Melo de Pierre received her Law Degree from the University of Panama in 1983. Mrs. Melo started legal practice as the director of the legal department of San Miguelito Township. She has collaborated with different law firms in Panama City from 1983 to 1992. Then she Co -founded Melo Pierre & Associates in 1992. She was also the Assistant Attorney to the Prosecutor Attorney in 1994. Mrs. Melo has also worked as a legal adviser in Panama's Ministry of Trade and Investment and as a Director of the Legal Department of Civil Aeronautics between the years of 1994 and 1996. She was also the Legal Director of the National Financial Corporation between 1996 to 1999. Her practice encompasses family law, child and spousal support, child protection, divorce, custody. She represents both private and legal aid clients.

Federico S. Pierre

Federico S. PierreFederico Pierre is an Agronomist with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering, since 1981. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science in 1993. He holds a Ph.D. in Teaching and Research. The Atty. Pierre has worked in public and private institutions. He has been a legal counsel to embassies in the Republic of Panama. He specializes in agronomic issues and has been a speaker at conferences and seminars around the world on topics related to Phytosanitary Control. Some of his publications are: Evaluation of Organic Fertilizer Combined Fertilization (chicken) with Chemical Fertilizer (Nitrogen and Phosphate) in Tomato Bureau, Agriculture and Ecological Design Standards for Protective Balance, Brief Considerations and  Variability In Temperature and Precipitation in The City of Santiago, Veraguas, as elements of climate variability indicators and Diagnosis of laws for the development of regulations to cleaner production in the primary sector of the economy.

Nisla Pierre

Nisla PierreNisla Cristina Pierre Melo has a Law degree from the University of Panama in 2010. She joins the firma as an associate in May 2012. Mrs. Pierre also holds a specialization in Project Management of Investment Projects from the Technological University of Panama. She has worked in various non-governmental and private institutions from 2005 to the present, managing and working on issues related to private contracts and public tenders. She has two publications: States Responsibility on the Environmental Damage cause to Panama’s Bay, and Basic, Pre-Media and Media Education, a Public Service in Private Hands.
